Back in April, I upgraded to a Canyon SLX 8 to tackle more challenging rides like the Dragon, White Rose & the etape. As Canyon is mail order only, I reinvested some of the money I saved by getting Adam to fit me up and it was worth every penny. Adam gave me excellent advice and the fitting has proven to be superb as I have done some tough and long (9-10h) rides and I always feel as one with my bike.
It started with a bike fit, but I've benefitted more as I've tapped into Adam's expertise. He spotted my in-ride nutrition was letting me down, then improved my cadence. Next we designed my perfect bike together. Throughout Adam benchmarked my fitness and encouraged me to improve. I've gone from unfit novice to happy amateur adventurer and club rider. Now with the confidence of a hors category climb or two, I'll be calling again on Adam to say 'what next!?'. Thoroughly recommended and good value.
Adam was recommended by a seriously keen cycling friend of mine and proved to be an excellent recommendation indeed. Professional and engaging throughout, I found the process fascinating and the result is that I now have a couple of bikes which feel far more an extension of my body than before. I'd recommend his services to anyone from my level (amateur!) up to anyone much more serious.
I approached Adam because I had been suffering lower back pain whenever I was cycling for longer than an hour. I have 2 road bikes for training, and also a commuter road bike, and I was experiencing discomfort on all of them.
Adam is a very attentive guy, who took the time to fully understand the sort of cycling I am doing, before any adjustments were made. It was methodical and professional, and I cannot stress just how much of a difference his changes have made to the comfort and performance I am now experiencing on my bikes. We did all of the set-up work on my main bike, and then Adam easily transferred the adjustments over to my other bikes. He also adjusted the cleats on my shoes and the results are beyond my wildest expectations.
Adam's services have revolutionised my riding, and I cannot recommend his services enough.
This is the second time I have used Adam to recommend a new bike. This time I was in the market for a Time Trial bike and was lost in the mire of different measurements outside of head tube and seat tube. Adam and I carried out an impromptu bike fit to identify the TT bike geometries that would suit my body shape and he suggested a number of brands that would give us the potential to tweak the set up. I brought the bike he suggested!
Adam was instrumental in perfecting my Time Trial position which works specifically for me and how I ride. We found out very quickly that lower was not faster in my case and had to come up with other ideas, and this is where Adam really excels, having ideas outside of the box to try and achieve the harmony between rider and bike. Adam has also helped my approach to Time Trialling by analysing race reports I provided and making improvements to my warm up and pacing. He has also formulated a training plan to help target key areas where my performance was weaker from feedback in our discussions and from analysis of the race reports. Adam has been responsible for my best 10mile and 25mile Time Trial times this season and I look forward to working with him in the future. I would, and have recommended Adam for bike fitting but also for coaching and training advice.
I've just had my first road bike expertly fitted by Adam. He was brilliant, providing a very thorough service in a friendly and professional manner. Adam was also instrumental in helping me to choose this bike, even taking time to research which models would be suitable. I could then order the bike safe in the knowledge that it would be the correct size for me. Adam really goes the extra mile to make sure everything is just right and his service far surpasses any I have found across the many bike shops I have visited. Thanks for all your help, Adam!
