Bike Fit

View details

Bike fitting sessions typically take 2-3hrs to complete. Any additional bikes to be fitted in the session usually adds on 45-60mins per bike.

The session includes an off-the-bike physical assessment with guidance on mobility and strengthening work that will help optimise your position and performance on the bike. Once the changes to the setup are made and position is finalised you will be provided with measurements of the final setup. You can view more details on the 'bike fitting' service page.

  • Your bike(s)
  • Your cycling shoes
  • General riding kit (shorts, short sleeve jersey and socks)
  • Aero helmet (if you use one and if being fitted to a TT bike)

Frame Sizing

View details

Frame sizing sessions take place on the adjustable fitting bike and you therefore do not need to bring a bike with you.

The session will likely take around 60-90mins.

  • Your cycling shoes (if you use them)
  • Your pedals (if you use any system other than Shimano SPD or SPD-SL, Look Keo, or Speedplay Zero. If you use any of those systems you do not need to bring pedals)
  • General riding kit (shorts and short sleeve jersey)

You will receive a document of measurements from the finalised position on the fit bike, as well as a shortlist of suitable bikes that match your required geometry.

Book online

Payment for the balance of your session will be made at the end of the session. Your deposit is used against the final total. For example, for a frame sizing session you will book with a £50 deposit and that will mean that the final total at the end of the sizing session would be £35.

Final payment at the end of the session can be made via credit/debit card or through contactless methods such as Apple and Google Pay. Alternatively, an invoice can be sent to pay online. Invoice payment is required within 24hrs of the conclusion of a session.

Yes, limited weekend slots are available but wil incur an extra £20 charge.

Our protocols for COVID-19 are fully detailed on the pre-fit information you will receive upon booking a session.

Please do not attend if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have any symptoms. Please let me know in advance of your session. We can rebook your session for another time at least two weeks in the future.

We do ask that you wear a mask at all times within the studio and that you also wear gloves (your long-fingered cycling gloves are fine).

The location of the studio within the family home does mean that the toilet and changing facilities are currently out of use in order to keep the rest of the house separate. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this. Drinks will also be unavailable. Windows will be kept open during each session, so do keep in mind that it will get a little cold when you aren’t on the bike and you might therefore wish to bring a jacket to keep warm with.

We keep on file details of your name, email address and contact details, pre-fit questionnaire and any measurements taken during the session. Coaching customers will have their training data kept on file, which includes power and heart rate data, and any comments or notes made about your training sessions.

We use Stripe for deposit payment processing, Google reCpatcha on forms and Cloudflare for privacy-first analytics.
